Quick Start Guide

  1. Download & Install Open the DMG file and drag EmberType to your Applications folder.
  2. Grant Permissions Allow microphone access and accessibility permissions when prompted.
  3. Download a Model On first launch, select and download a Whisper model. Larger models are more accurate.
  4. Set Your Hotkey Configure a global keyboard shortcut to trigger dictation from anywhere.
  5. Start Dictating Press your hotkey, speak, and watch your words appear instantly.
